Rheinfels Castle is located on a hill near St. Goar. There is a limited number of paid parking spaces on site. 

The Rheinfels shuttle takes you from St. Goar   to the castle. This makes it easier to climb up to the castle if you are traveling by public transport. The Rheinfels shuttle runs according to the timetable .

The nearest train station is St. Goar, from where you can either take a bus connection to the castle or walk. The train connections to St. Goar are good, there are regional trains every hour.
